In Vermont we are lucky to have some of the best colors in autumn as the maples on the hills and mountains indicate winter is coming. People far and wide come to gaze upon the scenery that surrounds The INN. Each year is different, the start, the peak, and then the inevitable-Stick Season. A few rain storms, some strong winds, and a heavy frost take those leaves and places them, well, everywhere. A new silence falls here in the northwoods of Vermont. There is no snow to play in and no leaves to peep, you have entered Stick Season. Each year during Stick Season we pause, tackle those huge projects we all have, breathe, give our dedicated staff some much needed time for their families, hobbies, and extra sleep. 2020 has been a doozie, maybe we need a little extra time. The INN and The INN Restaurant will be closed beginning on November 1 and we will reopen with a delicious dinner on Thanksgiving. Enjoy your stick season, stay safe, and be well.
